Dustin DeCaires
Dustin Michael DeCaires, 26, of Keaau, died Aug. 25, 2019. He was born in Pleasanton, Calif. in 1992.

He is survived by a daughter, Saria DeCaires of Hawaii; mother, Gina Jones of Hawaii; brothers, Kanoa Jones of Hawaii and Anthony Baker of Hawaii; sisters, Sierra Valderrama of Hawaii, Kealoha Jones of Hawaii, and Ihilani Casem of Hawaii; grandparents, Michael Padilla and Debi Padilla of California, and Lynn Devine of California; and two uncles.
David Hirt
David Jonathan Hirt, 65, of Waikoloa, died Aug. 30, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Jan. 11, 1954 in Huntington, N.Y., he was a retired legislative analyst for Hawaii County and a horticulturalist.

He is survived by sons, Shawn Hirt of Arizona, Kristopher (Megan) Hirt of Idaho; brother, Warren (Jane) Hirt of California; sister, Joan Hirt of Virginia; four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
